Equal Voice – Migrant Workers in Texas Sue Over Housing Conditions

A group of farm workers in south Texas filed suit in federal court alleging they were forced to live in housing that was “unfit for human habitation.”

The federal lawsuit, filed in late January, says workers at Van Horn chile farm slept in bug-infested shipping containers and trailers, and some were provided nothing more than a door propped on a tire for bedding.
