Associated Press – Judge Tells FEMA to Share Assistance Criteria

A federal judge in Brownsville has ordered the Federal Emergency Management Agency to issue the criteria and standards it used in determining whether homeowners affected by Hurricane Dolly were eligible for home assistance.

U.S. District Judge Hilda Tagle’s order Wednesday is a small victory for thousands of South Texas homeowners whose claims for help repairing their damaged homes were denied by the agency.
