Rio Grande Guardian – TRLA sues FEMA on behalf of colonia residents impacted by Dolly

As expected, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid is suing the Federal Emergency Management over the way it handed out disaster aid and assistance to the victims of Hurricane Dolly.

In its coverage of the aftermath of Dolly, the Guardian found numerous colonia residents in San Carlos and San Cristobal, near Edinburg, who were denied financial assistance by FEMA.
