A Brownsville woman is upset that no one will help her find out how much her land is truly worth.
Dr. Eloisa Tamez, a professor at UTB lives right outside of Brownsville on the border in a small area called Calavos. She says it’s land that’s been in her family for generations, dating back to the 1700s.
Tamez wants to find out how much her land is worth because the border wall is going to divide it, so she wants to go to court and fight it.
